Church Planter Interview

A few months ago naz.org.ph was honored to tour the Luzon District with District Superintendent Marcelino Ochoco Jr. We visited 5 new church planting sites that have started in this last year. Many new people have come to Christ and they have many stories. One of the pastors involved is Jun Ganancial. This is an interview with him.

New Church Plants Luzon

In April DS Ochoco toured the good results from the churches that were started just last November with medical teams from Susanville CA. Brad Reger and others partnered with the Luzon District to reach out to these communities where few or no churches of any kind exist.

PALCON Visayas Mindanao

Gathering from all over the southern Philippines Pastors, laypersons and their families gathered in Cebu for a spiritual challenge and uplift. Games, lectures and lots of good food kept them busy for three days. Near the end one pastora said “I am so full I can’t hold anymore!” She was glowing with excitement and the challenge of returning to her ministry.

New District Superintendent of Metro Manila District

Rev. Arnel Piliin has been appointed as the District Superintendent for Metro Manila District by General Superintendent Dr. Jerry Porter.

Angeles City First Expansion Plans

A property purchased by the Angeles City First Church will allow them to expand their current sanctuary to accommodate the normal crowds.

Training Held for Disaster Response

The Philippines is one of the top ten disaster prone countries in the world. Training is being provided to our districts and churches to help them manage these problems more effectively.

Nazarene Compassionate Ministry coordinators and District Superintendents from across the Philippines meet in Manila for a three day training and coordination in disaster response.
